Created in 1978, Lartington Parish Council represents one of the smallest

electorates in Co. Durham – approximately 100 voters.

Although too small to provide any direct services, the Parish Council takes its

responsibilities very seriously and always seeks to properly represent the

interests of local people and to fulfil its democratic functions as effectively as

possible.

In developing and presenting this website, we hope that residents will enjoy a

understanding of the work of the council and find useful starting points for any

queries or questions that may arise.

We hope, therefore, you find this website helpful. In the event, however that

you cannot find the information you are looking for, or would like to comment

on or suggest an item you want to see on this website, then please contact

us to let us know.
